Jennifer Gish writes and I of all people, come to the defense of the city of Buffalo?

It is not often I come to the defense of my city. Buffalo is a city that has its issues; we here in Buffalo know that, but there are movements trying to upgrade the problems we face. Buffalo truly is not a bad place to live no matter what some of you pretentious people across the country think of us. When it comes to my city, I feel that you can treat Buffalo like your siblings… You can beat them up and tease them, but if an outsider does this to them you unleash hell towards that person. This brings me to Jennifer Gish, a features reporter and sports columnist for the Times Union in Albany, NY, whom has seemed to draw the ire of Buffalo Bills fans here in Western New York. Gish in her column titled “Bills Fans Need Help Keeping it Real”, makes remarks such as “Buffalo is practically in Canada” and “This isn't about mocking you. It's just about bringing you back to reality”… She is too ignorant or imprudent to realize that by asserting these types of remarks, she can be considered to be publishing some kind of mockery towards this community. A quick "Ask an Asshole"

Usually I gather a few of the Dear Abby columns and put a series of advice pieces together, but this one question that was submitted to Dear Abby was too good to pass up. I had to put this one up right away. For future reference people... instead of writing into Dear Abby with your life or relationship questions, submit them to me for the "Ask an Asshole" series. I'll give you some real advice.

Where do the Parrotheads go when it is all over?

Where do we go? What do we do? No, these are not questions I am thinking about the post-apocalyptic world… These are my thoughts on when Jimmy Buffett is no longer touring.

Oh the style of Jared Leto...

I’ve said it before and I will say it again... Jared Leto is not deserving of all the ass he gets. Anyone that dresses the way he does has no business pulling any ass let alone the beautiful ass that undoubtedly flocks to him. I really wanted to do a fictional second person fashion column where I would have written as I were in the head of Jared Leto of "30 Seconds to Mars". Then I realized one thing... I am clueless when it comes to writing a fashion piece. My absolute disregard for trends in the fashion world may place some kind of explanation on my next point... What the fuck are celebrities such as Mr Leto thinking when they wear the outfits they do?

Columns & Answers: 3rd Batch

What do Dr. Phil, Dear Abby and I have in common? Well, nothing besides the fact that none of us are qualified to give our opinion in response to these questions people have. Here is the next batch of Columns & Answers... Going forward I might call these pieces “Ask an Asshole”.

Professional athletes bother me...

Today I read an article in The Buffalo News that both surprised me and yet failed to surprise me at all. This article really got me thinking about a few other articles I had read not all that long ago and really had me thinking... none of it good. I am a huge sports fan, but as I have grown into an adult the utter greed and selfishness that many of the athletes display is absolutely turning me off to the games. Whether it is the complaining about length of games and amount of time they practice, contract holdouts, wanting to re-negotiate contracts, their attitude towards fans, their sense of entitlement while in public... the list can go on and on. They have a job that most people can only dream of having and I am not sure that these people realize how good they actually have it . Yes, professional athletes bother me.
